Headz Up is a church reaching out to the hip hop culture of Los Angeles with the Good News of Jesus Christ in a non-traditional atmosphere.

1. Our Core Values: The Purpose of Headz Up is to reach out to the Hip Hop culture of the Los Angeles area and to help them become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ

2. God Centered: We at Headz Up value being God centered an utmost priority. Serving and pleasing the Lord Jesus Christ is the center of all our actions and endeavors.

3. Bible Based: We at Headz Up value the study, exposition, and application of the Word of God. The Scriptures are valuable in every aspect of Christian life (2nd Timothy 3:16.)

4. Target Oriented: Headz Up exists to reach the lost and unchurched Hip Hop community. Those who are seeking and sincere about Christianity are welcome to join us. Being sensitive to and understanding our target
community is very important to us, and we believe in building
relationships that lead to evangelistic opportunities.

5. Disciple Making: Discipleship is the message of the Great
Commission given by Jesus Christ, and this is what Headz Up is fully committed to. We will be active in providing opportunities and examples for discipleship, such as mentoring, counseling, events, seminars camps and evangelistic training.

6. Kingdom Building: Although we target people in the Hip Hop culture, we realize that being a part of the Kingdom of God involves people regardless of background, and we acknowledge the truth of the Gospel being given to save those in all of the nations. We want to partner with other ministries together in serving the Lord Jesus Christ, sharing and learning for the common goal of the Kingdom.

EXALTATION:
Headz Up exists to offer believers the opportunity
to worship and glorify God together in their culture of Hip Hop.

EDIFICATION:
Headz Up exists to help disciple believers to
build a biblical foundation in their lives, through Bible study,
devotionals, discovery of spiritual gifts and fellowship. We will
encourage believers to become participating members of the body of Christ.

EVANGELISM:
Headz Up exists to reach people who are facing a
Christ-less eternity. Our target group is the Hip Hop culture of the Los Angeles area. Members of the body are encouraged to seek out the un-churched as the Holy Spirit has sought them out, and to look for opportunities to share Christ's love.

SOCIAL ACTION:
Headz Up exists to act as a conscience to Hip Hop
culture and beyond by demonstrating the love and righteousness of God in
word and deed.
